Lisa M. Marino
Listening closely to people and championing diverse voices has shaped much of my professional life, and those same values now sit at the heart of my fiction.
I am from Perth, Western Australia, and spent nearly twenty years living in the United States before returning home.
My background is in public diplomacy, community engagement and writing. Over the years, I have worked on education and employment programs for Aboriginal youth, served as a media officer for a Western Australian Senator, and written freelance features for a local WA paper.
When I am not writing, I enjoy volunteering on community projects and spending time along the Western Australian coastline with my husband, family and our much-loved dogs.
